Where will they hear the Truth?
Bible Center Church recognizes that fulfilling our mission requires us to reach out to the lost outside the doors and beyond the curb of the building.
Just as our LORD sent his disciples to the communities and villages, BCC “thinks outside the church walls” in reaching out to many who have never entered a church building except for a wedding or funeral. Teams of outreach volunteers bring the Good News through different types of outreach such as:
- Providing runners with water at various races held in our city...
Providing women in breast cancer treatment with hand sewn bags with info and goodies useful while in chemotherapy; or promoting an “Outdoor Expo” where we draw people to an event celebrating hunting and fishing in the WV autumn.
- Conducting book studies held in restaurants in the metro area...
Panel discussions on a bestselling book such as The “DaVinci Code” or “The Purpose Driven Life”.
- Speakers series and community studies in The Case for Christ...
Renting a local theater where a Christian movie plays, (such as “Fireproof”), and the gospel is shared afterwards.
- Training in one-on-one evangelism for the workplace, special evangelism events and follow-up groups for discipleship.
Our LORD calls for us to take the gospel to our Jerusalem, our Judea and our Samaria. Each year BCC sponsors 10 Outreach events that are aimed at that great goal.
