First Grade: History
History is taught in a manner so that students are presented facts which can be developed into concepts and principles. Much emphasis will be given to maps, Columbus, Native American Indians, first American settlements, the institution of American laws, the development of American schools, the benevolence of the One True God, families and their needs and wants.
