Second Grade: Mathematics
Math will stress the absolutes of God's creation and train the mental ability of students. Counting, place value, addition, and subtraction, money, time, graphs, simple geometry, multiplication and division and roman numeral are the concepts taught and reviewed. These concepts are reinforced with daily oral and written drills. Story problems are used for the children to have the opportunity to apply skills and facts that have been learned.
