Third Grade: Mathematics
Mathematics is an important part of a student's day. Emphasis is placed on daily oral and written drills using knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. Emphasis is on multidigit addition and subtraction with borrowing, place values, division of multidigit dividend with single digit divisor. Students are introduced to number sentences, fractions, measurement conversion, and geometric shapes.
