Fifth Grade: Bible
The title of the text for grade five Bible is Possessing the Land. A survey of the Old Testament is the basis of this study. Beginning in Genesis, students will gain a clearer perspective of how the stories of the Old Testament fit together in one pattern. One of the primary goals is to allow the Holy Spirit to work in the lives of the students to conform them to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). Therefore, a strong emphasis is placed on character development with practical lessons enabling students to make life-changing decisions for themselves even at a young age. Weekly Chapel services, Scripture memorization and daily prayer is also included.
