Fifth Grade: Spelling Grade Five Spelling capitalizes upon correct spelling, pronunciation, and usage of vocabulary words lifted from the Reading curriculum. Weekly word lists entries' parts of speech are identified, definitions are given, and meaningful activities to expand knowledge of usage are incorporated. Dictionary skills are reviewed and furthered.
