Rev. Jesse Waggoner
Senior
Associate Pastor
Pastor Waggoner is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College
and holds a Master of Religious Education degree from Bethany Theological
Seminary. He previously served as Pastor of New Hope Bible Church in WV
and of Calvary Baptist Church in Ohio. He and his wife, Julie, have two
grown children: Jessica and Brandon, and one teen son, Brian.
- Oversees all church-based ministries
- Assists Pastor Thornton in the pulpit ministry and oversight
of all ministries and programs
- Oversees and facilitates adult
ministries, small groups, the website, and the membership process
- Works directly with the Elders in facilitating their
leadership role.

Jim McQuerrey
Associate
Pastor of Worship Ministries
Pastor McQuerrey graduated from WV
Institute of Technology and holds a Master of Music degree from Marshall
University. He previously served as Minister of Music at Shenandoah
Baptist Church in Virginia, as a music educator in Kanawha County
Schools, and performed with the Charleston Symphony. He and his wife, Brenda, have
two grown daughters, Jamie and Alicia.
Oversees all music and worship-related ministries
Recruits, trains and prepares musicians for
worship
Prepares and plans worship services.

Lee Walker
Associate Pastor of Administration
Mr. Walker is a graduate of Appalachian
Bible College and has an MBA from Marshall University. He previously
served for 29 years at ABC, 16 as Executive Vice-President. He has served
on numerous boards of educational and non-profit organizations. He is
married to Marty, and has two children, three step-children and nine
grandchildren.
- Oversees finances, personnel,
operations, technology and
facilities for all of Bible Center
- Oversees the future development of our
new site
- Works directly with the Deacons in
facilitating their leadership role

William
Tanzey
Associate Pastor of
Community Ministries
Pastor Tanzey is a licensed professional
counselor and is a member of the American Association of Christian
Counselors. He is a graduate of WV University where he holds a Masters
Degree from the Department of Counseling Psychology and
Rehabilitation. He is currently working on his Doctorate Degree
from Masters Seminary. He and his wife, Doris, have three sons and
two grandchildren.
- Oversees ministries of community
outreach
- Oversees and implements the counseling
ministry
- Provides counsel and discipleship to
members of the church family
- Provides outreach and counsel to those
outside the Bible Center family

Michael Reynolds
Pastor of Educational Ministries
Pastor Reynolds is a graduate of Tennessee
Temple University and holds a Master of Religious Education degree from
Temple Baptist Seminary. Previously, Pastor Reynolds served as a teacher
and school administrator at schools in Tennessee, Georgia and West
Virginia. He and his wife, Diana, have two grown daughters, Jennifer and
Melissa.
- Administrates Bible Center School with
215 students in grades K-6
- Oversees and recruits a team of over 20
staff members
- Provides counsel and input to parents
and children and performs general pastoral duties

Mrs. Diana Reynolds
Preschool Director
Mrs. Reynolds has been the Director of our
day care since 1993. She attended Huntington College of Business,
Tennesse Temple University and has
advance training in test interpretation and
administration of Gesell Developmental Assessment.
Previously, she taught at Grace Christian
School in Huntington. She and her husband, Mike, have two grown
daughters, Jennifer and Melissa.
- Administers the day care ministry
with 115 children, ages 2-4
- Recruits and oversees a staff of
over 20 members
- Provides counsel and input for
parents and children and performs general staff administrative
duties

Richard P. Thompson
Pastor of Children's Ministries
Pastor Thompson has received training from
Moody Bible Institute and Liberty University and holds a B.S in Church
Ministry from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. He previously served as
Assistant Pastor and Children's Minister at Lyona Bible Church in
Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Michelle, are the parents of three sons:
Rick, Benjamin, and Jordan.
- Oversees and facilitates the children’s
ministries
- Recruits and trains a children’s
ministries volunteer staff of over 350
- Provides counsel and input to children
and their parents

Rev. David Jones,
Pastor of Care Ministries
Pastor
Jones is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and has a Master of
Ministry Degree from Baptist Bible Seminary. He previously served as
pastor of a church in New York and then served 20 years as Associate
Pastor of his home church, Limerick Chapel, in Pennsylvania. He and his
wife, Debra, have one grown son, David.
Oversees and facilitates the care ministries
Provides counsel and input into the lives of
people who are in personal or financial crisis
Visits those who are hospitalized or shut-in and
ministers to families during times of bereavement

Steve Neill
Pastor
of Student Ministries
Pastor Neill is a graduate of Pensacola
Christian College and previously served as youth pastor at Merrimack
Valley Baptist Church. He and his wife Elizabeth are the
parents of Micah, Emma and Mabry.
- Oversees and facilitates
ministry to teens and college age adults
- Provides counsel and input to
teens and their families
- Recruits and trains youth
ministry volunteer staff

Rev. Matt Friend
Pastor
of Outreach and Discipleship
Pastor Friend is a graduate of Ambassador
Baptist College and is currently working on his Masters Degree from
Northland Baptist Bible College. For over five years he had a
ministry of itinerant evangelism. He and his wife Sarah have two
daughters, Kaitlin and Riley.
- Oversees ministries of outreach
to our community
- Facilitates discipleship
opportunities among our congregation
- Recruits and trains a volunteer
outreach team
