Pastor’s Letter

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our Online Church Campus!

I can’t fully express how eager I am for us to meet back together in person. Many in the media seem to think Christians want to be IN churches; however, I believe they’ve misunderstood what a church is. It’s not a sacred space we long to be IN, but a redeemed people we long to be WITH. We want to be together, assembled as a church, in whatever building we may meet. The Lord has used this pandemic to remind me that there’s something sanctifying—mysteriously life-changing—about meeting together as a church family week after week.

As you see in the 4-phase re-opening plan below, it looks like that will be early-to-mid June for us.

Furthermore, separate sermon notes for both adults and children can be found on our app (under “Media”) or at The children’s version provides ways to draw pictures related to the sermon… and yes, adults are allowed to use that version too. We won’t judge.

Today is the second weekend in our Exodus series, “Divergent: What in the World Do We Do Now?” This summer we’re going back in time over 3400 years to journey through the wilderness with God’s people. If there’s a book in the Bible that speaks to our confusion and fear as we emerge from a pandemic, it’s certainly the book of Exodus.

Today’s message is titled, “Finding God’s Grace in our Mistakes.” I believe this true story from Exodus 2 can help and encourage us all.

Thankful for God’s amazing grace,

Matt Friend • Senior Pastor

When will we re-open the church campus for in-person gatherings?

We trust you’ll find the following information to be both caring and strategic as our Pastors, Staff, and Elders have worked hard and prayed much to lead us to this next step, continuing to follow local and CDC guidelines.

Though we hold the plans loosely since things are regularly changing, the information and a video explaining it can be found on our Campus Re-Opening Plan page.
