Pastor’s Letter

Dear Bible Center family & friends,

Welcome to church! Thanks for visiting in person or tuning in online or on TV.

This weekend we launch a new 3-part series, “One of a Kind Christmas.” Christmas 2020 is already slated to be “one of a kind” because of the Coronavirus, but God invites us to make it one of a kind because of Christ!

Today’s inaugural message, “One of a Kind Light,” explores the biblical story of light and its connection to Christmas. From the very beginning of the story when God said, “Let there be light” (Genesis 1) to the very end of the story when Jesus removes darkness forever (Revelation 21-22)… all light finds its fulfillment in Jesus of Nazareth—the light of the world.

Next weekend we’ll study “One of a Kind Love,” followed by “One of a Kind Lord” the weekend before Christmas.

I hope you’ll join us for the entire series as we gaze upon the beautiful uniqueness of Christmas, and more specifically, upon the beautiful uniqueness of Christ.

Our prayer is that everything about our services and events will mesmerize you with hope, enthuse you with expectation, enthrall you with faith, and captivate you with joy: from the lighting, decorations, and music, to the special Christmas Eve service, the online and TV concerts, and the sermons shared.

Thankful for the Light of the world,

Matt Friend • Lead Pastor
