Michelle Thompson
Michelle has been serving at Bible Center Church for 23 years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology with an emphasis on Christian Education from Andersonville Theological Seminary and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Southwest Bible College and Seminary. She also has a Master Level Certification as a Life Coach. Michelle loves to walk with the hurting, the confused, and those seeking to improve their personal relationship with Jesus. Her desire is to share God’s promises and peace with the hurting and to help individuals apply God’s wisdom to all situations in their lives. Michelle focuses on counseling individuals with histories of trauma or relational abuse, those with anxiety, or individuals with complicated family or marriage issues. Michelle and her husband Richard have been married for 38 years and have 7 children and 7 grandchildren. Some of their children came to their family after journeying through the foster care system which has given her a special affinity for individuals with this type of trauma. Michelle likes to hike, and enjoys reading and playing games. She also has a special bond with the family’s pug, Doug.

Jordan Thompson
Jordan has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. He uses a Biblical approach to mental health in tandem with Cognitive Behavioral Theory to help individuals and couples identify their maladaptive thoughts that influence their behaviors to overcome difficult life circumstances and trials. His counseling theory stems from 2 Corinthians 10:3 which directs all of us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.
