About the Series

September-November 2022

God’s Glorious Church is built around Ephesians 4 and will focus on becoming a more unified, equipped, and mature church for the glory of God and an increasing impact on our state.

Everywhere you look today, things seem increasingly divided. The same was true of the society in which the earliest Christians found themselves living. Political upheaval, religious factions, and oppression ruled the day as they have tended to throughout history. As we jump into our year in Ephesians chapter 4, we’ll look at how God has designed the church to be His method for bringing hope to the world. We’ll see unity as one of the outcomes of Christianity. It happens as a group of people, willing to live life with a different set of priorities and values than what is typical, are used by God to display the love of Christ to the world.

Acts 9 Pastor John King Part of the Series, "A Gospel Movement"

From Series: "A Gospel Movement"

Good New of Great Joy for All People - The Book of Acts The book of Acts tells the story of a movement that changed the world—ordinary people empowered by the Spirit, boldly proclaiming the good news of great joy for all people. A Gospel Movement invites us to step into that story and see how God used ordinary people to carry extraordinary news to the world. We’ll see how the Church was launched with purpose, anchored in the gospel, and led by faithful people who boldly followed Jesus wherever He sent them. We’ll be reminded that when the gospel remains central, boldness grows, generosity overflows, and faithfulness makes an eternal impact. This series is both a look back and a call forward—an invitation to join the same gospel movement God is still building today—bringing hope, joy, and new life to all people.
