Counseling Ministry

SAFE. CONFIDENTIAL. JESUS-CENTERED.

We are Here for You!

Bible Center Church recognizes that no one gets through life unscathed. Our desire is to offer a compassionate and caring environment where you feel heard and understood.

Our new Counseling Ministry opens on September 2, 2025, where three staff counselors or one of our pastors will be available to help you on your journey.

Our Counselors

Michelle Thompson
Michelle has been serving at Bible Center Church for 23 years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology with an emphasis on Christian Education from Andersonville Theological Seminary and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Southwest Bible College and Seminary. She also has a Master Level Certification as a Life Coach. Michelle loves to walk with the hurting, the confused, and those seeking to improve their personal relationship with Jesus. Her desire is to share God’s promises and peace with the hurting and to help individuals apply God’s wisdom to all situations in their lives. Michelle focuses on counseling individuals with histories of trauma or relational abuse, those with anxiety, or individuals with complicated family or marriage issues. Michelle and her husband Richard have been married for 38 years and have 7 children and 7 grandchildren. Some of their children came to their family after journeying through the foster care system which has given her a special affinity for individuals with this type of trauma. Michelle likes to hike, and enjoys reading and playing games. She also has a special bond with the family’s pug, Doug.
