A Year of Gospel Movement

Jesus promised those who would become His disciples that He would make us “fish for people.” In other words, as we are transformed as His followers, we become people who share in His mission. As we grow to become more like Christ and follow Him more closely, the natural outcome is that we become people who reach others with the hope of gospel.

This year’s gospel movement involves all of us—both as individuals committed to loving our neighbors and as a ministry stepping into new opportunities to reach people. It will call us to go and share the gospel with those who need to hear, to wrestle and respond to a call to leadership that God may be stirring in our hearts, or to give sacrificially toward the continued expansion of ministry. It will invite us to deepen our faith in God, who is already working in places and ways we can’t yet see, and to place our faith and trust more fully in His plan—stepping into His calling in ways we may not have before.

It will challenge us to spend time on our knees, asking God to move in ways only He can. Let’s take this journey together, with open hands and open hearts, expecting that God will work through us in a remarkable way to bring people to Jesus.
