Member Vote for Lead Pastor
On June 25, 2023, the Elders recommended Pastor John King for the role of Lead Pastor. The member vote will be held on August 13 during the morning services. Information about Pastor John and about the vote will be presented on Sunday mornings and will be emailed to members prior to the vote.
Men’s Summit
August 18-20 | Spend time with friends, challenge your faith, and enjoy some of West Virginia’s best mountain views at Summit Bechtel Reserve. Enjoy lake activities, the shooting range, golf, or catch up on some R&R. Come for the day or stay overnight. Check out all the info and sign up today!
Church Picnic
Sunday, August 27 | 5-7 PM | You’re invited to join us for a fun night of hanging out and enjoying a cookout. We’ll provide BBQ, water, and paper products. Last names A-L, bring sides. Last names, M-Z, bring dessert. Don’t miss this fun time for the whole family. Kids can bring their bikes and enjoy the park and water slide.

September 20, October 18, November 15 | 6:00-7:30 PM | Ever wonder how you can get more out of your Bible reading? Not sure what it’s saying? Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for 3 exciting sessions on “How to Study the Bible.” Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided.

Kids & Students
Move-Up Sunday
August 13 | Upcoming Kindergarteners will move up to Base Camp this Sunday. Upcoming 6th graders will go to MSM (at 9:30) and rising 9th graders go to HSM (at 9:30).
Save the Date | Fall Kick-Off
August 23 | We’ll kick off the Awana year with a family cookout (6 PM). We’ll have the slip ‘n slide out so bring a towel and change of clothes. MSM will meet at 6 PM, and HSM will meet at 7 PM at BCS. Looking forward to a great year!
Volunteer in Early Childhood!
Want to make a difference in the lives of children this fall? Classroom helpers and leaders are needed to listen to verses and assist with snacks, crafts, lessons, and games on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM. Sign up to get involved, or contact Katie Ferrari for more info.
Biblical Financial Principles for Parents of MS & HS Students

A new study geared toward helping parents navigate finances will be held beginning next Sunday, led by Kelly Castleberry. Parents of middle and high schoolers are invited to attend and we look forward to a great time together!
