Pastor’s Letter

Dear Friends,

Welcome to church via our Online Campus! We’re so glad you’re here.

In an effort to better love each other and our neighbors, please know that the Elder Board and I are regularly monitoring the Coronavirus Pandemic situation. We haven’t taken this decision lightly, nor are we motivated by fear.

Instead, please know that we are motivated by love: for our entire congregation (including our most vulnerable populations), for our city (in hopes of “flattening the curve” and slowing the spread of disease), and in honor of what the CDC and governing officials have recommended that we do.

First, if you need groceries, supplies, or some form of medical care… and haven’t been able to receive the care you need, please call me. My cell number is 681-587-5102. Your generosity has enabled me to hire a phenomenal team of professionals who are working tirelessly to care for everyone in our congregation and even many who are not yet a part of our church family. We would be honored to serve you in any way that we can.

Furthermore, if you know someone who might be in need of assistance, please reach out. I’m seeing it all over our valley… People are checking on people they might normally feel awkward checking on. The sound of your voice over the phone could mean more to another person than you may ever realize.

Finally, this week’s sermon is Part 2 of “A Christian Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic.” (You can go back and listen to Part 1 from last week.) It’s important that we’re all biblically equipped for such a time as this.

If you know someone who wasn’t able to get online for last weekend’s live broadcast, consider making sure they are ready to go for this weekend through any one of the four venues: 1) at, 2) through the free Bible Center Church app, 3) by the Facebook Live link on Bible Center’s Facebook page, or 4) through the Bible Center YouTube channel.

With you for the gospel and for the city,

Matt Friend • Senior Pastor

Connect with a Group
If you are looking for connection in this time of social distancing and isolation, we are offering Zoom Groups… a place where group members can talk via the web/video conferencing tool, Zoom.

Presently, we are collecting contact information of those who are interested and hope to start virtual groups in the next two weeks. Please click here to let us know you’re interested!

Existing Groups
For those of you in Groups: We believe God is inviting us into new opportunities for belonging. Spiritual friends do what is necessary to take care of one another. Group leaders are actively thinking through the next steps for each group—very small groups for some and virtual groups for those who would like to stay in their homes. Leaders should be in touch with you soon.
