Welcome to Church Online! We’re so glad you’re finding connection here.
What are you afraid of? What keeps you up at night? Why do you or your loved ones wrestle with worry and anxiety? How do we face, manage, or overcome our fears?
“Fear not!” is the most repeated command in the Bible. In fact, it’s been said that there are 365 “fear nots” in the Bible—one for every day of the year. Though that’s not actually true (since “fear not” or “don’t be afraid” is only mentioned a little more than 100 times), the Bible does speak to our fear over 500 times.
This weekend we launch a new three-week teaching series titled “The Final Word on Fear.” Each sermon will tell a true story about Jesus encouraging someone not to be afraid:
- When he calmed the storm (Mark 4:35-41) – April 19
- When he healed two ladies (Mark 5:21-43) – April 26
- When he walked on water (Mark 6:45-56) – May 3
I hope you’ll journey with us each weekend. Invite a friend to watch with you, and check out the resources at the bottom of our series page. Each sermon and daily devotional shines Jesus’ hope on our doubts, fears, anxieties, and discouragements associated with this pandemic.
