The Latest from Children’s Ministry
9 27 20 Base Camp OnlineSometimes people use their words and actions to hurt us. Have you ever had that happen to you? Have you ever used your words to hurts someone else? This week we watch Jesus's good friend Peter use his words and actions to hurts Jesus. When someone does that to me I often want to hurt them back. Not Jesus. He chooses to forgive and shares with Peter that He's has forgiven Him and wants Him to keep on His mission. Let's watch as we learn friends forgive one another.
9 20 20 Base Camp OnlineTwo friends with very similar names help each other keep their eye on God and His way for their lives. Would you like a friend in these days that will invite you to join them on a journey following God? Thats exactly what happens in our lesson today. Our bottom line is this . . . Friends encourage one another. In these COVID days with uncertainty, lack of connection and lists of questions I imagine that we all need someone to help us and encourage us.
9.20.20 Base Camp OnlineWhen a King has a son, the Prince, everyone expects the Prince to take the Kings position as next King. In this weeks lesson we watch the Prince lay down his life, put everything on the line even his life for his good friend. Why would someone do such a thing? Because friends love one another.
The King is not so loving. The King throws spears at both the friend and his own son. Those kind of actions are the opposite of what the Bible says is love. How do you show love to someone in your life?

To develop moms, dads, sons, daughters and leaders to:
- Be present – see who is around you, live in the moment and connect your faith to life.
- Create safe environments where we feel free ask questions about life and our relationships about Jesus.
- Partner to live out our faith every day.
- Make our faith personal, living it out everyday in all of our life circles: home work or school.
- Move our faith out from where we are into the next phase of life.
My greatest passion is not only to see girls and boys come to know Jesus Christ but also to be a life coach for moms and dads, assisting them in navigating these different phases of their children’s lives. Each phase of shaping these creative young minds to live and love like Jesus has its own set of tools and questions to be answered.
Elisabeth and I have been through various stages of child raising, presently having children ages 21 and 18 and a 14. We desire greatly to encourage parents, to supporting the family in each phase as well as to teach children to have a passion to love others, to love God, and to discover what it means to live a full life in Jesus.
Make it Count
From the time your child is born to the time they turn 18, you have 936 weeks with them. Every week matters.
Thanks for allowing us to influence your child’s life as we partner with you to be for the gospel for the city!

The question we ask :
